Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar recently announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts a total of $619.7 million in local sales tax allocations for the month of March. The amount sent out by Hegar’s office represents a 5.8 percent increase from the amount released in March 2016. more
