The Brook Hill School announced last week a new speaker for the upcoming Tyler Ford-Brook Hill American Warriors Bowl Game Banquet, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 26. “We believe the American Warriors Bowl will be a big event for East Texas and for the sport of high school football,” said Brook Hill Athletic Director Wally Dawkins. “It is important for us to understand that the reason we have the opportunity to enjoy things like Texas high school football is because of the sacrifices made by our men and women serving in the Armed Forces.” Originally scheduled to speak to attendees at the Tyler Ford-Brook Hill American Warriors Bowl Game Banquet was Major General James K. “Red” Brown, Jr., who will be unavailable to attend the event due to prior commitments. more
