In celebration of the 87th year of Cub Scouts in America, Pack 366, under the leadership of Cub Master Tony Vining, had their annual Blue and Gold Banquet Friday, Feb. 24, inside the Bullard Southern Baptist Church Family Life Center. While at this sit-down dinner, the cubs were given many awards and rewarded for their hard work this year. The highlight of the evening was the “crossing over” into Boy Scouts of a total of eight Arrow of Light scouts, or scouts in the fifth graders. The scouts were given Arrow of Light awards, the highest award in Cub Scouting and only one of two cub scouts awards transferring over onto the Boy Scout uniform. The Cubs were escorted across the white bridge by Order of the Arrow local Boy Scouts dressed in Lakota Inspired Native dress. more
