The award-winning Bullard Belles drill team will give the Bullard community the opportunity to drive in style, as the organization is partnering with Bill McCrae Ford and Lincoln in Jacksonville for the second annual Luxury Lincoln Test Drive Event 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in the parking lot of Bullard High School. During the event, the Belles will be able to receive an $8,000 maximum donation from Bill McCrae Ford and Lincoln, which would match the amount the organization received after the event in 2015. more

The University Liggett School, a private, independent, secular school located in Grosse Point Woods, Mich., recently created a scholarship to honor one of the school’s graduates who now calls the city of Bullard his home. more
The Bullard Area Chamber of Commerce has opened its annual patriotic scholarship essay competition. The BACC Red, White, and Blue Patriotism Essay Competition application process began Wednesday, Sept. 14. The purpose of the competition is to honor American veterans and the sacrifices they have made to ensure freedom. more
