Runners and racers of all ages and abilities gathered together to support an organization near and dear to the hearts of many within the Bullard community, as the Bullard Education Foundation held its eighth annual “Strides for Excellence” 5K Fun Run Friday, April 14, on the grounds of Bullard Independent School District. “We always have a great time with members of our community at the BEF Fun Run,” said Tisha White, BEF president. “We had about 350 people register for the race this year. This year, we had the event on Good Friday, which we were concerned about, but families and members of the Bullard ISD and Bullard community still came out and enjoyed a great event.” more
Runners wishing to take part in the next event celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Brook Hill School will need to sign up soon, as late registration for the inaugural Brook Hill Orange Rush Family Fun Run ends Friday. more
Registration for students entering Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes beginning in the 2017-2018 school year at Bullard Early Childhood Campus is currently underway, as the school will continue to register students from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 19-20, at the BECC campus. more
The newest members of the Bullard High School junior varsity and varsity cheerleading squad for the 2017-2018 school year were recently announced during a celebration event held Thursday, March 23, inside the BHS cafeteria. more
A small group of Bullard High School Twirlers, as well as Twirl Revolutions, recently competed against tough competition from around East Texas at the Rose Capital Marching Auxiliary Competition, held Saturday, Feb. 18, at Tyler Junior College. more
Hundreds of parents, guests, and members of the Bullard community gathered to enjoy performances featuring the talent and hard work of many Bullard Independent School District Fine Arts programs, as the award-winning Bullard Belles drill team hosted the annual Bullard Belles Premier showcase event Saturday, April 1, inside the Audry B. Owens Auditorium on the campus of Bullard High School. more
