In just 17 days, the Bullard Lady Panther varsity volleyball program will prowl their way back onto the court and begin the 2017 season. Bullard Panther varsity baseball pitcher Colton Bowman isn’t staying at home and taking it easy during the months of summer vacation. Instead, the young southpaw is working hard to make it to the next level. Through his hard work and determination, Bowman, listed as a 6’-2” 190-pound left-handed pitcher, was recently announced as a member of the Texas Rangers’ 2017 Area Code Underclass Team. more

With the summer months off from school, students and families are usually headed off on family vacations, on the waters of several of Bullard’s area lakes, or are at the house relaxing. However, a number of student athletes at Bullard Independent School District are using the time afforded to them during the summer to work on their athletic abilities by attending the Bullard Panther Power Strength and Conditioning Camp. more

A former Bullard Lady Panther basketball star is putting in the hard work and effort to make a lasting difference on her collegiate team this year, in hopes of making it all the way to the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s women’s tournament. Lexi Kirgan, listed as a 6’-4” center for the Abilene Christian University Wildcats women’s basketball team, will enter her sophomore campaign in the 2017-2018 season. more
