Bullard Panthers 57, Frankston Indians 37, FINAL FHS: 12 8 11 6 - 37 BHS: 9 23 15 10 - 57 The Bullard Panther varsity basketball team was back on the hardwood recently, as the team played the part of host for a non-district matchup against the Frankston Indians Friday, Nov. 17, at Bullard’s Panther Gym. In the first quarter of play, the home team Panthers and the visiting Indians battled for control of the flow of momentum to begin the contest. Frankston was able to rally their way to an early lead, scoring a total of 12 points, while Bullard netted nine points. more
Having made up her mind last softball season on the plans after graduation, one of Bullard High School’s star athletes put pen to paper last week, selecting to sign with a local collegiate softball program. Destinee Dixon, the catcher for the Lady Panther varsity softball team, was honored by the BHS athletic department and her coaches during a signing ceremony held Wednesday, Nov. 15, inside the BHS Panther Gym. “I’m very excited about my future,” said Dixon. “It’s a great experience, and I’m glad I was able to share this with my family and friends today.” Surrounded by family, friends, coaches, and teammates, Dixon signed to become the newest member of the Tyler Junior College Apache softball team, led by head coach Maria Winn. more

A total of 13 senior members of the Brook Hill Guard varsity football team were honored during the school’s annual Senior Night ceremony, held Friday, Nov. 3, just before the team’s contest against the Cedar Hill Trinity Christian Tigers at Brook Hill’s Herrington Stadium at Young Field. Senior Brook Hill Guard varsity football players recognized at the Senior Night event included Kami Adeleye, Garrett Brown, John Dixon, Campbell Fletcher, Ian Hathaway, Jeremiah McGowen, Sam Nechi, Harold Ofuokwu, Greyson Priestner, Mac Rose, Abed Taha, Hood Taylor, and Colby White. more
Senior athletes involved in the Bullard Panther football program were recognized for their contributions to the team during the annual Senior Night ceremony, held Friday, Nov. 3, before the kickoff of Panthers’ district contest against the Henderson Lions at Panther Stadium. A total of 19 Bullard Panther football senior players received honor during the Senior Night festivities, including Cleet Bowman, Luke Bowman, Thomas Brooks, John Campbell, Ty Crayton, Cade Duvak, Jagger Haynie, Cade Hollingsworth, Bailey Kurtz, Kele Leachman, Raini Leachman, Jansen Mattingly, Will McCowin, Brody Mullican, Zach Ridgley, Weston Roach, Aaron Smith, Dillon Swinney, and Nick Zachry. more
