The season has just begun for the Bullard Panther varsity golf team; however, the team is already beginning to experience success on the links. The team participated in its first event of the season Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Mesquite Invitational Golf Tournament, held at Mesquite Golf Course. At the tournament, the Panthers were able to prowl their way ahead of the competition, finishing as the first place team with a team total score of 323, holding back the second place team, Rockwall Heath, by just one point on the scorecard, as well as teams representing Longview, North Mesquite, Mesquite Horn, and West Mesquite. more

The signal-caller for the Bullard Panther varsity football team has added another accolade to his high school resume. Panther varsity football senior quarterback Cleet Bowman was recognized as the Week Seven winner of the American State Bank Player of the Week award, announced last week. more
The Bullard Little Dribblers organization has begun accepting registrations for the 2017-2018 season. The registration period will end on Friday, Oct. 27. This year, Bullard Little Dribblers will feature a total of four divisions for young athletes to participate in, including the Instructional Division (born between August 2, 2001 and August 1, 2013), the Minor Division (born between August 2, 2009 and August 1, 2011), the Junior Division (born between August 2, 2007 and August 1, 2009), and the Major Division (born between August 2, 2005 and August 1, 2007). more
The Bullard Lady Panther varsity volleyball team paused to honor the contributions and commitment of the team’s three senior players during the annual Lady Panther Volleyball Senior Night ceremony, held Tuesday, Oct. 10, inside Panther Gymnasium. This year’s event took place in front of the capacity-filled home bleachers before the Lady Panthers took to the hardwood for a district contest against the Gladewater Lady Bears. more
As summer transitions into fall in East Texas, sports seasons also experience a change, as several of the state’s strongest girls basketball programs begin practicing on the hardwood. One such team that will begin the 2017-2018 season shortly is the Bullard Lady Panther basketball program. more
