With the 2017-2018 season for the Brook Hill lady Guard varsity volleyball team in the books, several of the team’s players have been recognized for their athletic abilities on the court, earning honors on the TAPPS District Volleyball Accolades list. “I’m privileged to announce that several athletes were awarded accolades this season,” said Candise Wise, Brook Hill Lady Guard varsity volleyball head coach, in an email to the Bullard Banner News. “These ladies worked hard and competed against some tough competition to earn these awards.” more

Although the season ended earlier than hoped for, the accolades are starting to roll in for the Bullard Lady Panther varsity volleyball team, as the Class 4A-District 15 All-District Accolades were recently released. Leading the prowl for the Lady Panthers on the All-District Accolades list was sophomore outside hitter Sara McKeethan, taking the top award in the district with her Most Valuable Player recognition. more
A new sport at Bullard ISD will soon kick off its inaugural season, as the Bullard Panther and Lady Panther varsity soccer teams are preparing for their first season on the field. The newly created Bullard Panther soccer program was approved unanimously by the Bullard ISD Board of Trustees during the board’s regular scheduled meeting held Monday, Jan. 9. As Bullard ISD trustees voted by a show of hands on the measure, the capacity-filled room erupted into cheers and celebration. more
