A total of two new coaching hires were recently announced by the Bullard Panther athletic department for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year by Bullard ISD Athletic Director Scott Callaway. According to Callaway, Travon Brown, a native of Whitehouse, was recently hired to coach the Panther football team’s defensive line, as well as discus and shot put events for the Panther and Lady Panther track and field teams. more
Young athletes of both middle school and high school age and athletic aptitude are taking advantage of a free opportunity to work on getting in shape and ready for the 2018-2019 school year and sports seasons by attending early morning workouts at the Panther Summer Strength and Conditioning Camp, hosted by the Bullard Panther athletic department. more
The University Interscholastic League Legislative Council met Tuesday, June 12, to make decisions on proposed rule changes in UIL academics, athletics, music and policy. In athletics, the council approved the strengthening of penalties for players who are ejected from a contest, modified scrimmage start dates for baseball and softball. The council also modified fall practice regulations and spring training for football. more

With the season now passed, several members of the Bullard Panther varsity basketball team were recently honored for their hard work and determination on the court, as the Class 4A District 15 All-District selections were recently announced. more
Members of both the athletic department and cheerleading squad at Bullard High School were on hand recently, taking part in the eighth annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes Heart of a Champion football game, held Saturday, June 9, at Longview High School’s Lobo Stadium. For the Panther football team, senior offensive and defensive lineman Weston Roach was selected to participate in the gridiron matchup, drafted as a member of the Red team. more
The softball programs from Bullard High School and The Brook Hill School were well represented recently, as a player from each team, as well as Bullard’s head softball coach, were selected to take part in the 2018 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Heart of a Champion Softball Game earlier this month. Bullard’s softball program was able to grab one of the top spots on the roster card for the All-Star softball game, as Lady Panther head coach Megan Dobrinski was selected as the FCA Blue team’s head coach. more
There will be a break in the schedule for the Bullard Panther Summer Strength and Conditioning Camp, allowing athletes and coaches to observe the week of the upcoming Independence Day holiday. more
