Parents of athletes looking to participate in various sports at both Bullard High School and Bullard Middle School will have the opportunity to have their questions answered during a couple of upcoming meetings. Bullard High School: According to Bullard ISD Athletic Director and Panther football coach Scott Callaway, a meeting for all athletes wishing to play football for the Panthers at all levels this season is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, inside the BHS gymnasium. more
Bullard High School’s Panther Stadium will be the scene of a community-wide pep rally event, as the school prepares to host Meet the Panthers, scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17. “We are very excited about Meet the Panthers,” said Susan Paddack, BHS teacher and event organizer. “We wanted to have an event that kicked of the start of not only a new year, but also a new year for Panther athletics. We received a lot of feedback from the community and excitement about an event like Meet the Panthers returning to BHS, and we want to keep this event as a tradition at our school for years to come.” more

Bullard will soon be represented on the national stage by a group of All-Star talent, as the Bullard Baseball and Softball Association’s 10U All-Star baseball team has found success this season, resulting in a trip to battle for a World Series title. After putting together an impressive run through the recent district and state tournament events, the Bullard 10U All-Stars have officially qualified to take part in the Dixie Youth World Series tournament in Lumberton, NC. more
Athletes involved with the Bullard Youth Football Association were able to learn valuable lessons from a local professional athlete last week, as Jacksonville native and former National Football League quarterback Luke McCown addressed players at the closing ceremonies at the organization’s annual summer camp event. This year’s BYFA football camp was held Monday through Friday, July 16-20, at Bullard High School’s Panther Stadium. more
A total of two teams associated with the Bullard Baseball and Softball Association loaded up their bats and gloves, as the teams represented their hometown on one of the largest stages in youth baseball. Family and friends gathered together at Bullard’s Whataburger Wednesday, July 18, for a sendoff celebration for the BBSA 9U and 11U All-Star baseball teams that qualified for the Dixie Invitational World Series event, held Friday through Monday, July 20-23, in Center. more
With the 2018 season now in the chronicles of history, the Bullard Panther varsity baseball team has received several individual recognitions for players’ hard work and efforts on the field this season, as the District 15-4A All-District Selections list was recently released. more
