Eagles Bluff Country Club announces new police and firefighter membership category

It has been a short two and half years of ownership and the Eagle's Bluff Club LLC, owners of Eagle's Bluff Country Club & Development, has recently created the newest membership in the private club industry.

On May 25, Majority owner Steve Plybon and the Board of Directors of the LLC Investors Group announced their newest membership category, "The Police and Firefighter Membership.”

“The Police and Firefighter Membership is a full golf membership for active police, fire fighters, highway patrol, and sheriffs personnel, we want to honor those who put their lives on the line for residents of East Texas on a daily basis,” said Bill Dowling, Eagles Bluff Chief Operating Officer.

The membership being offered includes the immediate family and is affordably priced. Eagle's Bluff Country Club is one of the first prominent private clubs in America to give back to those who serve East Texan's without hesitation.

The Club's Membership and EBCC residents are large supporters of the Wounded Warriors and other charities, therefore it comes as no surprise that Eagle's Bluff Country Club would be the first club to introduce such a gift to those who serve us.

Eagle's Bluff Club, LLC has invested both the labor and money to bring its golf course, pool, tennis & pickleball courts, fitness center, kids’ playground, marina and clubhouse back to country club standards.

"With the complete refurbishing of our club, it is time to offer an affordable membership to those who serve and protect the people who reside in East Texas,” said Plybon.

According to information from Eagle’s Bluff, the new Police and Firefighter Membership is a full-family membership. The initiation fee for the new plan is waived, saving qualifying new members $1,000, as well as regular dues for the membership cut in half.
