Frank M. McNamee Jr. of Mixon, TX passed away August 5, 2017.
He was born January 11, 1935 in Erlanger, Ky. He went to Lloyd High School and University of Kentucky where he studied engineering. He served in The United States Air Force and retired from GE and Trane Co.
In his younger years, Frank enjoyed the mapping of wild Kentucky Caves and helped discover parts of Mammoth Cave. He was a Boy Scout Leader and volunteer for Brooklawn Children’s Home in Louisville, Ky. He was a Kentucky Colonel, an Elder of the Okolona Presbyterian Church, and a Motorcycle Safety Instructor.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank M. McNamee Sr. and Virginia E. McNamee.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ginni McNamee; daughters Rhonda Renee McNamee of Flint and Tara Traighli Stanton and husband, Ricky Stanton, of Victor, Mont.; grandsons Nick Parrish of Flint and Denver Stanton of Missoula, Mont.; sister Juanita Jeanette Paule, and husband Dr. Bill Paule, of West Covina, Calif.; nephew Dr. Joel Paule of Goleta, Calif.; and niece Adrienne Paule of New York, NY.
Services will be held at Oak Grove Bible Church (1812 CR 3802, Bullard) 11 a.m. August 9. Donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas.
