The Lady Panthers’ 8-2 district record allowed the team to finish as District 15-4A Co-District Champions, with the Gilmer Lady Buckeyes and Kilgore Lady Bulldogs. According to head coach Barry Gill, the team claimed the top-seed of the district after a recent district meeting.

“I’m thrilled that despite being very young and suffering a devastating season ending injury, these girls battled and gained experience all year long,” said Gill. “We have become a very solid team and it showed in district. I’m very happy for our girls that we can proclaim ourselves District Co-Champions.”

In the most recent poll released Monday, Feb. 12 by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, the Bullard Lady Panthers were ranked as the No. 23 team in Class 4A.
