The Bullard High School Marching Panther Band recently returned from a band trip to Florida, which included marching in the “Magic Kingdom March” down Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom.

“We had an outstanding performance for a very appreciative, large audience,” said Gary Johnson, Bullard Independent School District Director of Bands. “Many from the audience said we were the best band, while presenting an outstanding performance, wonderful musicianship, beautiful uniforms, and a professional presentation.”

According to Jordan, the band’s performance received rave reviews from the guests at the park, as the lined the side of Main Street USA to take in the musical performance.

“We are very excited about the audience response from our performance and the opportunity to perform for so many people from all over the world,” said Jordan. It was the experience of a lifetime for these students and our program, allowing people who had never heard of our band, or even Bullard, to listen to the quality of musicians we’re producing from our band program.”

In addition to the performance, the Panther Band’s members also enjoyed leisure time taking in the sights and riding rides at the Magic Kingdom, Disney Epcot Center, and Disney Animal Kingdom.

“We are very appreciative from the support of our Band Boosters, Bullard ISD administration, faculty, and staff, as well as the community of Bullard for their support to make the trip a success,” said Jordan. “We couldn’t have done this without them.”
