State Representative Travis Clardy recently announced a member of his district staff will be on hand Wednesday, May 9, to meet one-on-one with constituents who wish to discuss state legislative issues or who need assistance with state agencies. According to the press release from Clardy’s office, staff members will meet with the public at events to be held at the Singletary Memorial Library in Rusk from 9-11 a.m., as well as Jacksonville City Hall from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
“Listening to the ideas and opinions of the residents of House District 11 about state government is an important function of my role as state representative,” said Clardy, in the press release. “I rely upon feedback to help me make informed decisions and work out solutions to problems facing Texans. For citizens who have questions or need help in navigating state services or processes, my office is here to serve as a resource.”

Clardy currently serves as State Representative for Texas House District 11, which includes Cherokee, Nacogdoches, and Rusk Counties. In the Texas House of Representatives, he serves on the Local and Consent Calendars Committee as Vice Chairman, as well as the Higher Education and Energy Resources Committees.
