Tyler woman killed in Flint motorcycle wreck

A Tyler woman was identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety as a deceased passenger in a fatal motorcycle wreck Saturday, in Flint.

According to DPS officials, emergency crews were called to a wreck involving a motorcycle Saturday, Feb. 11, at the intersection of Oak Hollow Rd. and Farm-to-Market Road 346, in the Flint area. After arriving, officials found a blue 1994 Harley Davidson that had detoured off the road and struck a tree.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Robert Kirk Hart, 52, of Tyler, was ejected and suffered serious injuries as a result of the wreck. Hart was transported by ambulance to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.

Hart’s passenger, identified as Vicki Lyn Hart, 52, of Tyler, suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown by air to ETMC – Tyler, and later died as a result of her injuries.

An investigation into Saturday's wreck is currently underway by DPS.
