UT Tyler names local residents to Spring 2018 President’s Honor Roll, Dean’s List

The University of Texas at Tyler recently released the names of several local residents on the school’s Spring 2018 President’s Honor Roll and Dean’s Lists.

In total, 654 students were named to the Spring 2018 semester’s President’s Honor Roll.

To qualify for the President’s Honor Roll, a student must have completed, in one semester, 12 or more semester hours of undergraduate college-level credit with a grade of “A” in all courses. To be considered for such recognition in any semester, a student must qualify as a matriculated student pursuing a first bachelor’s degree.

The President’s Honor Roll is awarded in fall and spring semesters only.

Bullard residents named to the UT Tyler Spring 2018 President’s Honor Roll included Audra Bachus, Jackson Ballard, Krystal Boles, Ann Camblin, Megan Carson, Christian De Vera, Abigail Ehrman, Rebekah Emerine, Jeri Hubbard, Jack Kasino, Abby Lykins, Jeffrey Moss, Lauren Noland, and Anahi Zavala.

Likewise, Flint residents recognized on the UT Tyler Spring 2018 President’s Honor Roll were Drew Adams, Madelyn Blankenship, Sarah Buchanan, Dawn Burkett, Carley Goode, Cameron Hunt, Brandon Jones, Iriela Montoya, Carley Newsom, Rylan Sherrod, Allison Tiemann, Ashley Van Dusen, and Caleb Youngblood.

A total of 467 university students and 30 pharmacy students were also named to the UT Tyler Dean’s List for the spring 2018 semester.

To qualify for the university Dean’s List, a student must have completed 12 or more semester hours of undergraduate college-level credit in the awarding semester with a grade point average of at least 3.75. To be considered for such recognition in any semester, a student must qualify as a matriculated student pursuing a first bachelor’s degree.

The Dean’s List is awarded in fall and spring semesters only. Students named to the President’s Honor Roll are not named to the Dean’s List.

To qualify for the Dean’s List in the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy, a student must have completed six or more credit hours during a semester with a grade point average of at least 3.75. There were two eight-week sessions during the spring 2018 semester.

Bullard residents honored with the UT Tyler Spring 2018 Dean’s List accolade included Brian Cooper, Tyler Grabski, Scott Mills, Charles Parkes, Haleigh Smith, and Sheridan Smith.

Additionally, Flint residents named to the UT Tyler Dean’s List for the Spring 2018 semester were Allison Bell, Jesse Borel, Jonathon Foughty, Crystalyn Jones, Kelsi Oldham, Jaylon Stewart, Valerie Vargas, Kelly Waller, and Lakisha Young.
