Do Revenge Plotline
This story is about two high school students, Drea and Eleanor. Drea is a famous girl at school, but her life turns upside down when someone leaks a topless video of her to the school. This video is meant for her boyfriend, Max, but it gets leaked to everyone. This causes problems for Drea at school, and she has to deal with the consequences.
Meanwhile, at this new school, Eleanor is a newcomer who runs into her old tormentor Carissa. Eleanor also attempted to kiss Carissa and allegedly held her down, making the latter an outcast, according to rumors.
Drea and Eleanor decide to beat down each other’s tormentors after forming a friendship. “After a secret meet-cute, Drea (Alpha, fallen it girl) and Eleanor (beta, new alt girl) join forces to pursue each other’s tormentors,” according to the film’s official synopsis. The most terrifying characters in all of cinema: teenage girls, are the subject of Do Revenge, a subverted Hitchcock-ian dark comedy.
“I believe there are numerous places in this narrative where everyone may be the villain and everyone may be the hero,” director Robinson remarked about the tale. Growing up is, in part, about discovering who you are. I wanted to create a painting that uses every hue of adolescence.
